(Eagle News) — Suspected big time drug lord, Kerwin Espinosa, will execute an affidavit and help government identify all those involved in the illegal drugs trade — including their protectors — in Eastern Visayas, even without him being placed under the government’s witness protection program (WPP)
Upon his arrival from Abu Dhabi, his lawyers said that Espinosa is willing to tell everything that he knows in his affidavit.
Meanwhile, Philippine National Police Chief Director General Ronald dela Rosa assured Kerwin and his family that he will be safe at the PNP Custodial Center in Camp Crame. For his safety and security, Kerwin will not be brought to Leyte where his father, Mayor Rolando Espinosa, was killed while under supposed protective detention.
Dela Rosa said Kerwin is very vital and is considered as the missing link who would connect the personalities involved in the illegal drugs trade.
