MANILA, Philippines – According to Senator Koko Pimentel, the government should learn a lesson regarding the violence in the Kidapawan crisis. The senator made said statement after the fact-finding hearing conducted by the Senate Committee on Justice and Human Rights. Pimentel added that during emergencies like the one that sparked the Kidapawan crisis, local government units and the national government should respond in a timely and urgent manner to avert a crisis.
