QUEZON City, Philippines (Eagle News) — House Constitutional Amendments Committee chair Roger Mercado said that after a series of consultation and hearings, majority of legal experts, business groups and sectoral representatives are in favor of the idea of changing the form of government of the Philippines into federalism.
Mercado also said that said groups welcome federalism as it is seen as the solution for the equal distribution of government funds.
