(Eagle News)—Light rains will prevail in some parts of the country as the northeast monsoon affects the Philippines.
The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said Eastern Visayas will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains.
Palawan, Occidental Mindoro, and the rest of Visayas will have partly cloudy skies, PAGASA said.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country, PAGASA said, will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies.
Meanwhile, Typhoon “Wutip” is located 1815 kilometers east of Visayas, but is still outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility.
It is packing maximum sustained winds of 185 kilometers per hour near the center, and gustiness of up to 225 km per hour.
The typhoon is moving northwest at 15 kph.
