Light rains to prevail in parts of PHL as northeast monsoon affects Luzon, Visayas

(Eagle News)—-Light rains are expected in some parts of the country as the northeast monsoon affects Luzon and Visayas.

The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said Bicol Region, Eastern Visayas and the provinces of Aurora and Quezon will experience partly to cloudy skies with isolated light rains.

Mindanao, on the other hand, will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers caused by localized thunderstorms.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy skies, PAGASA said.

Winds in extreme Northern Luzon and the eastern sections of Luzon of Visayas and of Mindanao will be moderate to occasionally strong, and coastal waters moderate to occasionally rough.
