(Eagle News)–Several flights were canceled on Monday, Aug. 20, following delays resulting from a runway closure at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport due to a Chinese passenger plane making a hard landing.
The Manila International Airport Authority said the following flights have been canceled:

- 5J 452 Iloilo – Manila

The 06/24 runway was reopened on Saturday, shortly before noon, after the Xiamen plane was extricated and clearing operations were completed.
Transportation Secretary Arthur Tugade has apologized for the incident.
