(Eagle News)–Several flights were cancelled by Cebu Pacific on Sunday, Aug. 19.
This was reportedly due to delayed clearances for departure as a result of congestion in ramps.
Airport authorities have just wrapped up clearing operations after a Chinese passenger plane overshot the 06/24 runway, which had to be closed down to flights until Saturday.
Below is a list of canceled Cebu Pacific flights:
- 5J 110/111 Manila-Hong Kong-Manila

Cebu Pacific also “strongly advised” passengers to resort to either one of these options and to no longer proceed to NAIA:
- rebook flights within 30 days from original date of departure,
- convert into a Travel Fund for future use, or
- get a full refund
Cebu Pacific said flights within August 17-21, 2018 at Terminal 3 of NAIA be rebooked within 30 days, without penalties.
Meanwhile, Philippine Airlines said it would open its 42 ticketing offices all over the country today to attend to the needs of passengers who were affected by flight cancellations at NAIA as a result of the runway closure.
The offices, it said, will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
