MANILA, Philippines – The Commission on Elections announced that 24, 000 registered voters are expected to participate in the local absentee voting on April 27 to April 29. The COMELEC only allowed government officials and employees, members of the Armed Forces of the Philippines and the Philippine National Police as well as media practitioners to participate in the local absentee voting.
