(Eagle News) — Paris, the City of Lights, dimmed the illumination of its landmarks and tourist attractions, as the French capital joined the rest of the world in observing “Earth Hour” on Saturday night, from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
In these Agence France Presse photos, the Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triomphe in Paris became one with the shadows as lights were dimmed for one hour to join the call to action to address climate change.
