(Eagle News)–Light Rail Transit-2 operations will resume on Tuesday, April 23.
The Department of Transportation made the announcement in a Facebook post on Monday night, citing information from Light Rail Transit Authority administrator Rey Berroya.
Operations of the LRT-2 had been suspended on Monday afternoon after a 6.1-magnitude earthquake.
The National Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council had advised railway lines may resume operations after a structural inspection of the same and upon assurance of structural integrity by the “responsible building engineer.”
