A body of a man in breathing apparatus was rushed out of # 36 Tandang Sora, Quezon City last Monday night, November 9. It was not determined whether the man was still alive, but it is clear from the video taken that oxygen apparatus was used to support his breathing.
The man was later identified as Benjamin Arellano Jr., who was neither a relative nor a household helper of the occupants at 36 Tandang Sora.
From the video gathered, Arellano’s body was hurriedly brought out of the compound by expelled INC minister Angel Manalo with some unidentified companions. The unconscious body was loaded in a white sedan waiting outside the gate of said Iglesia ni Cristo property.
Arellano was reportedly ill for the past weeks.
Authorities are puzzled why the occupants of 36 Tandang Sora failed to rush Arellano to the New Era General Hospital, which is just a few meters away from that INC compound. Previously, a certain Ariel Santos, a cook inside the said compound was allowed by Angel Manalo to seek medical checkups.
CCTV footage taken last November 5 showed that Santos was fetched by a black car purportedly to undergo medical checkup. That same car took him back at 36 Tandang Sora last November 9, 2015.
In all occasions, it was reported that the car of Atty. Trixie Angeles, Angel Manalo’s lawyer, was the one who fetched Santos and Arellano.
36 Tandang Sora is a compound registered in the name of Iglesia Ni Cristo, but occupied by expelled members Angel Manalo and Lolita Manalo-Hemedez.
