Man tagged as gunman in slay of businessman Dominic Sytin pleads guilty to murder, frustrated murder

(Eagle News)–The man police tagged as the gunman in the killing of businessman Dominic Sytin last year has pleaded guilty to murder.

Edgardo Luib also pleaded guilty to frustrated murder for shooting Sytin’s bodyguard, Efren Espartero, before the Olongapo Regional Trial Court Branch 72 on Wednesday, Aug. 28.

Luib’s co-accused, Sytin’s brother Dennis and one Ryan Rementilla, remain at large.

Sytin was killed on November 28 in Subic.

His brother Dennis has denied the allegations against him.
