Mancao surrenders to PNP

QUEZON City, Philippines (Eagle News) — Former Senior Supt. Cesar Mancao, who was accused in the killing of publicist Bobby Dacer and his driver Manuel Corbito in year 2000, has surrendered to the Philippine National Police this week in Camp Crame, Quezon City.

PNP Criminal Investigation and Detection Group – National Capital Region (CIDG-NCR) Chief Sr.Supt. Benny Tamayo on Wednesday (February 1) made this confirmation. He said that Mancao voluntarily surrendered and is currently in the custody of the CIDG-NCR while waiting for the commitment order from the court.

Mancao was able to escape confinement in the National Bureau of Investigation in 2013.
