(Eagle News) — The camp of former senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., said the recent outing held in Laguna of the Presidential Electoral Tribunal (PET) head revisors, and other personnel along with the revisor of Vice President Leni Robredo was a source of “corruption” and can be considered as a way of trying to influence the results of the recount.
According to Marcos spokesperson Atty. Vic Rodriguez, the head revisors of PET and the camp of Robredo could lead to conspiracy as it compromised the ongoing judicial recounts and revision proceedings.
Rodriguez also said that the “Pansol outing” only showed that Robredo and her camp is trying to manipulate, influence and/or control the head revisors and other personnel.
Kaya hindi ho nagkamali si Pangulong Duterte na sabihan syang incompetent sya eh,” Rodriguez said in an interview over Net 25’s Agila Balita Alas Dose.
Rodriguez then denied the accusation that the former Senator knew about the outing — a swimming party — in Laguna and that he provided food for them.
The Marcos spokesperson revealed that they only got to know the incident on July 4 when they saw a post in Facebook of one of the PET revisors, Maria Katrina “Che-Che” Rosales showing the photos of their outing in Pansol, Laguna.
“The evil may have its hour, but the good will defenitely have its day.
Meanwhile, aside from the 12-page manifestation of grave concern with urgent motion to investigate, Rodriguez said they are also planning to file charges of anti-graft for violating Republic Act 3019 against the PET personnel and head revisors who were involved in the incident.
