(Eagle News) — “Maring” made landfall in Quezon, on Tuesday, bringing rains in the area and in nearby places including Metro Manila.
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said in its noontime press briefing that the tropical depression hit Mauban around 9 a.m.
As of 10 a.m., Pagasa said “Maring” is located in Laguna, packing maximum sustained winds of 60 kilometers per hour, and gustiness of up to 100 kph.
Pagasa said “Maring” was moving in a west-northwest direction, and is expected to pass by the Manila Bay area, and then the Bataan and Zambales areas.
