The death toll caused by the rampage of “Mario” in the greater part of Luzon has risen to 11.
According to the records of the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council, the latest incident is recorded when the body of one JB Suarez Declito was recovered in Kawit, Cavite after drowning.
Most of those recorded dead during the storm died because of drowning while the second highest cause are electrical accidents.
The number of injured has risen to twelve while two were recorded missing.
The agricultural damage caused by “Mario” reached 48.7 million pesos while damage to infrastructure reached 91.34 million pesos.
