Mayor of Red Deer City in Alberta, Canada sends greetings of congratulations to INC on its 104th year

(Eagle News) —  The mayor of Red Deer City in Alberta, Canada was among the many government officials from around the world who congratulated the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) on its 104th anniversary, and its 50th year in the West.

Mayor Tara Veer of Red Deer City also thanked the INC for its many “acts of service” to the city that helped “build community life for all.”

“Thank you for the gift of your great presence in this great city that we are fortunate enough to call our home, and for your many acts of service that build community life for all,” the mayor said in her letter.

“Please accept my sincere congratulations on behalf of Red Deer City Council and the citizens we represent on the Church Of Christ’s 104th Anniversary,” she wrote.

“We are honored to be able to help you celebrate your special day and hope that your anniversary year is filled with much joy and many blessings,” she added.

The city of Red Deer is the third most populous city in Alberta, Canada after Calgary and Edmonton.   It has a population of 100,418 as of the 2016 census.
