World and Olympic Champion skier Tina Maze of Slovenia enjoyed herself on the slopes of Lenzerheide on Sunday (March 29), winning the Red Bull SKiLLS race, a combination of all four classic skiing disciplines.
Combining super-G, slalom, downhill and giant slalom, the fun event gives the top skiers a chance to relax but still test their skills.
Maze beat Denise Feierabend of Switzerland and Klara Krizova of Czech Republic to take the honors and said afterwards: “it’s the end of the season and we have some fun, it’s relaxed and I love it when I can ski like that.”
The men’s event was won by Adreien Theaux of France, a super G specialist who took third place at the World Championships in Vail/Beaver Creek.
Defending SKiLLS champion Mauro Caviezel of Switzerland finished second with compatriot Gilles Roulin third.
