(Eagle News)–A thunderstorm advisory has been hoisted over Metro Manila and other areas.
The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said moderate to heavy rainshowers with lightning and strong winds are also expected over Tarlac, Rizal, Pampanga, Bulacan, Bataan and Zambales within the next two hours.
PAGASA said these conditions are being experienced in Carranglan, Pantabangan, SanJose, Lupao in Nueva Ecija; Tagaytay, Mendez, Silang in Cavite; Binan, Santa Rosa, Cabuyao, Calamba, Alaminos in Laguna; Laurel, Talisay, Tanauan, Balete, MataasNaKahoy in Batangas; and in Patnanungan, Burdeos, Calauag, Real, GeneralNakar, Lopez, Gumaca, Macalelon in Quezon.
“All are advised to take precautionary measures against the impacts associated with these hazards which include flash floods and landslides,” PAGASA said.
