Airport authorities on Monday announced the implementation of a new traffic scheme around Circulo Del Mundo to facilitate better traffic for passengers going to the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3 in Pasay City.
This came after the Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) kicked off the trial period of the said traffic scheme last week as it was observed to have cut travel time.
Under the new scheme, the innermost lane of the said circular road has been made into a priority lane for airport passengers from sales road going to Andrews Avenue.
Motorists coming from Baclaran would have to proceed further to Andrews Avenue and take the u-turn slot in front of Remington Hotel on their way towards the mall instead of turning left along the road going to new port mall.
They were also advised to stay on the left-most lane of Andrews Avenue coming from sales road to be able use the priority lane.
