(Eagle News) — The Manila International Airport Authority has released its list of operational commercial flights for Sunday, Dec. 5:
MIAA advised passengers to coordinate with airlines as only those with the confirmation will be allowed entry into the airport.
The Philippines has so far restricted entry to travelers from some countries including South Africa, where the Omicron variant was first announced, to prevent the entry of the variant initially blamed for the surge of COVID-19 cases in South Africa.
A Philippine Genome Center official said Omicron was already possibly in the Philippines but has yet to be detected.
