MANILA, Philippines (Eagle News) – The Moro Islamic Liberation Front insisted that what happened in Mamasapano was mere self-defense on the part of their members. This statement was made after the Department of Justice said that it will file cases against 90 suspects, saying that although they respect the DOJ, they will follow their own findings. The MILF also made an earlier announcement that they will not surrender their members who were involved in the Mamasapano incident.
