QUEZON City, Philippines – As the intensified military operations against the Maute Group continues, the Armed Forces of the Philippines – Western Mindanao Command recorded 55 dead. The military operations resulted in the evacuation of thousands of residents in the said area. The Maute Group is said to be behind the extortion and kidnapping activities in the province.
