Missing Cessna plane found in Bataan

Rescue operations for pilot, passenger start

(Eagle News) — The Cessna plane that was reported missing on Monday, Feb. 4, has been found.

In a radio interview, Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines spokesperson Eric Apolonio said the Cessna C-152 training aircraft was photographed in a forested area in Bataan on Thursday, Feb. 7.

The two-seater plane that took off from the Subic Airbase and disappeared since was allegedly piloted by Indian national Capt. Navern Nagaraja.

His only passenger was also an Indian national, his student Kuldeep Singh, based on initial reports.

Apolonio said rescue operations were being held in the Bataan, Bulacan and Zambales areas.
