MMDA starts no contact arrest policy on April 15

GUADALUPE, Makati City, Philippines – The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority will re-implement its “no physical contact” policy regarding the apprehension of traffic violators.

Said policy will be resumed on April 15. Said resolution was approved by the MMDA council, empowering said governmental body to make use of CCTVs, digital camera and other technology to capture the plate numbers as well as the violations of motorists. The MMDA will install an additional 250 CCTVs.
