Closure to pave the way for ongoing MRT-7 construction
(Eagle News) — The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority on Thursday, Feb. 14, announced the closure of the flyover and intersection in Tandang Sora, Quezon City starting Saturday, Feb. 23.
In a press conference, MMDA General Manager Jojo Garcia said the closure would start at 11 p.m. and would last until 2020.
Garcia said this was to pave the way for the ongoing construction of the Metro Rail Transit-7.
The MRT-7, which is expected to be completed in 2020, is under the Build, Build, Build program of the government.
