Mocha Uson named OWWA deputy executive director

(Eagle News)–Former Palace communications official Mocha Uson has been appointed to another government post.

Based on a list of appointees released by the Palace to the media, Uson was appointed Deputy Executive Director of Overseas Workers Welfare Administration by President Rodrigo Duterte.

Uson had run as a nominee for  AA-Kasosyo in May, but the party-list failed to secure a seat.

Uson was assistant secretary of the Presidential Communications Operations Office until she resigned reportedly to allow for the swift passage of the PCOO proposed budget for 2019.

She had been criticized by some for her posts that were allegedly fake news.
