A BLIZZARD swept across the entire eastern part of the United States starting Friday afternoon, killing 17 people and paralyzing traffic and power supply in some of the worst-hit areas nearby Washington D.C.
The blizzard is the most severe ever since 1922.
In the county of Montgomery of the State of Maryland, the monster snowstorm cut power supply to 288 households and weighed down houses in a community.
“This is horrible. We got no power. We got no heat. And we got no electricity. It took my son and some neighbors an hour to dig snow out,” said a resident.
According to authorities, there have been more than 2,000 power outage instances in and near Washington D.C. since the snowstorm struck.
