QUEZON City, Philippines – The number of barangays placed under dengue yellow alert increased from 47 last week to 80 this week. According to Assistant Health Secretary and DOH spokesman Dr. Eric Tayag, 84, 000 dengue cases, with 300 casualties have been recorded since January 2016. Dr. Tayag guaranteed that despite the increase, there is still no dengue outbreak in the country.
