More than 300 families in Cagayan de Oro were affected by strong winds and rains brought by a low pressure area which caused flooding in some villages on Sunday, Aug. 31.
The City Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO) has reported that over 300 families were temporarily sheltered in evacuation areas due to the flash floods.
The affected villages in Cagayan de Oro were Carmen, Kauswagan, Bulua and Calaanan.
