(Eagle News) — More than 500 bulletproof vests were turned over to policemen in Camp Alagar, Cagayan de Oro City, according to PNP Region 10 Spokesperson Supt. Surkie Sereñas in an interview with Net 25’s Agila Balita Alas Dose.
The distribution of the bullet proof vests was led by Philippine National Police-Region 10 Police Chief General Timoteo Paclib.
According to Sereñas, the bullet proof vests were distributed to the provinces of Northern Mindanao including Bukidnon, Cagayan de Oro, Lanao del Norte, Lanao del Sur, Ligian and Misamis Occidental.
The official said the vests will be used in all the functions of the PNP, especially on its campaign against illegal drugs.
