(Eagle News)– The Muntinlupa Regional Trial Court has granted Senator Leila de Lima’s motion for a one-day medical furlough.
In a motion dated March 6, Muntinlupa RTC Branch 205 Judge Amelia Fabros-Corpuz granted De Lima’s request that she be allowed to undergo a checkup following a Philippine National Police General Hospital CT-scan result that found a lump in her liver.
The checkup will reportedly take place at the Philippine Heart Center on Monday, with all expenses to be shouldered by the senator.
De Lima, who is facing drug-related cases, is detained in Camp Crame.
