Senators Juan Ponce Enrile, Jinggoy Estrada, and Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. are not the only ones named in the affidavit made by Janet Lim Napoles her lawyer said, claiming she tagged more people in the pork barrel scam, but was also quick to add that his client has not implicated 19 senators – both incumbent and former – as was earlier reported by the media.
In a televised interview, Atty. Bruce Rivera said that Napoles definitely did not name that many senators in the case. “The number 19 is false,” he said. All this after reports that the troubled businesswoman may turn state witness after meeting with Justice Secretary Leila De Lima.
While Rivera belied such reports, Napoles has already implicated Enrile, Estrada and Revilla in the controversy. He said that Napoles’ testimony will be handled by the Department of Justice. De Lima, meanwhile has not disclosed the entire content of the affidavit to the public.
