(June 15,2017) – For the second time in 3 years , the city of Oakland, California hosted the Golden State Warriors Victory Parade. Boasting of one of the greatest teams of all time , the Warriors rode their floats and buses through the streets of Oakland, surrounded by a sea of blue and gold decor. Fans held up signs , with chants of “M-V-P!” and “Warrriorrrrs” as the Champions passed by in their buses and floats.
Draymond Green was the life of the party, wearing a “quickie” t-shirt , as a jab to Lebron James’ “ultimate warrior” t-shirt last year.
“I think we all wish we could be Draymond sometimes—look at his shirt. I love Draymond. We got a team full of humble Warriors, and then we got one guy that’s just going to stir up the pot every day. And thank God we do, because we need that pot stirred,” says Steve Kerr.
Capping off the ceremony , the NBA Champions posed for a team picture with the Larry O’Brien trophy and officially closing out the 2016-2017 NBA season with the rest of Dub Nation. Congratulations to the Golden State Warriors !
