(Eagle News)- Rodolfo Noel “Jun” Lozada, the famous whistleblower of the multi-million NBN-ZTE deal, has been sentenced by Sandiganbayan from 6 to 10 years of imprisonment after finding him guilty of graft in Philforest case.
It was said that Lozada granted separate leasehold rights over public lands to his brother, Jose Orlando Lozada, and to a private company which is affiliated with him under the Lupang Hinirang program of the Philippine Forest Corp., a government-owned and controlled corporation under the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR).
The brothers were found guilty of violating Section 3(e) of Republic Act 3019 or the Anti Graft and Corrupt Practices Act.
