New agents needed in PDEA

QUEZON CITY, Aug. 10 (PIA) – The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) is hiring brilliant and highly qualified professionals to be a Drug Enforcement Officer (DEO).

PDEA Undersecretary Director General Arturo G. Cacdac Jr. said the new DEOs will have an unparalleled budding career as part of an elite drug law enforcement group in the country.

PDEA Academy is gearing up for the recruitment and selection of 500 qualified applicants for the Drug Enforcement Officer Basic Course (DEOBC) Class 15-08. New DEOs will have an entry level position of Intelligence Officer 1 (IO1), a permanent item with Salary Grade 11.

Interested applicants must be: 21-35 years old, Bachelor’s Degree holder, Career Service eligible, Board Passer or qualified by Civil Service Commission under Special Laws.

Letter of intent may be sent to PDEA addressed to Arturo G. Cacdac Jr., CESE, Director General, Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency, NIA Northside Road, National Government Center, Barangay Pinyahan, Quezon City.

Applicants must also attach a photo copy of Birth Certificate issued by the Philippine Statistics Authority. If under height, an applicant must secure a certificate issued by the National Commission on Indigenous People (NCIP). Also, ensure that the contact number and email address are duly indicated on the Personal Data Sheet (PDS Civil Form 212, 2005 Revised) which can be downloaded at www.csc.gov.ph.
