(Eagle News) — President Rodrigo Duterte is greeted by his grandchildren when he woke up on his birthday (Friday), March 28, at his residence in Davao City.
The President opted to spend his time with family on his 72nd birthday. In these pictures, Duterte is seen playing with his grandchildren who surprised him with warm birthday hugs and kisses when he woke up in his Davao City home.
In some of the photos, his famous “kulambo” which the President uses when he goes to sleep, can be seen in the background. The Philippine leader is also seen wearing a simple white shirt and brown shorts
In another photo, Atty. Manases Carpio can be seen holding the President’s newest grandson, Marko Digong “Stonefish” Carpio, as the Duterte grandchildren strike a happy pose with their Lolo. Also in the photo is the President’s youngest daughter, Veronica “Kitty” Duterte.
In one photo, the President is seen kissing his grandkids fondly.
Mr. Duterte earlier said this was the greatest birthday gift he could ever receive.
