(Eagle News)—The National Grid Corporation of the Philippines hoisted a yellow alert over Luzon grid on Saturday, April 27.
The NGCP said the alert, which means reserves dropped down to required levels, was effective from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Available capacity was pegged at 10638 megawatts, while peak demand was at 9989 MW.
The NGCP said the Department of Energy would explain the cause for the alert within the day.
