QUEZON City, Philippines, June 17 (Eagle News) — The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS) said that the two steam-driven eruptions in Mt. Bulusan, Sorsogon is not a sign of an actual eruption in the said volcano, since said volcanic activities are normal.
On the other hand, classes were suspended as the volcano and nearby areas remain under Alert Level 1.
