The Department of Education clarified that the early registration for academic school year 2016-2017 is free. All that the parents have to bring are their birth certificates as well as report cards if applicable.
The DepEd encouraged parents to participate in the early registration to help in the preparation for said academic year by gathering necessary information like how many students said department should expect, as well as how many teachers are needed.
The early registration program started last January 30 and will last until February 29.
