MANILA, Oct. 18 (PNA) — Rough sea condition caused by typhoon “Lando” stranded a total of 5,580 passengers in various ports nationwide, the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) said in an advisory at 8 a.m. Sunday.
PCG said that this number was 75 more than the 5,505 reported at 4 a.m. Among those stranded were 78 vessels, 48 motor bancas, and 504 rolling cargoes.

CENTRAL VISAYAS
Cebu – 1,793 passengers, 22 vessels, 6 motor bancas
Dumaguete – 6 passengers, 9 vessels, 12 motor bancas
Tagbilaran – 30 passengers, 6 vessels, 12 motor bancas, 5 rolling cargoes
SOUTHERN TAGALOG
Batangas – 643 passengers, 309 rolling cargoes
Oriental Mindoro – 819 passengers, 53 rolling cargoes
Occidental Mindoro – 53 passengers, 1 vessel, 4 motor bancas, 30 rolling cargoes
Southern Quezon – 190 passengers, 12 vessels, 21 rolling cargoes
Northern Quezon – 45 passengers
Romblon – 191 passengers, 7 vessels, 5 motor bancas, 28 rolling cargoes
BICOL
Albay – 856 passengers, 16 vessels, 5 motor bancas, 59 rolling cargoes
