There will be no salary increase for government employees next year.
House Committee on Appropriations Chairman Ernesto Ungab explained that there was no allocation for salary increase of government employees on the 2015 budget.
He added that the government did not finish its study on how much increase should be given to government employees due to the series of disasters that struck the country this year.
But the government was able to allocate 30 billion pesos for performance enhancement incentive bonus for government employees.
