The late President Corazon Aquino, on Sept. 12, 1991, declared October as the Museums and Galleries Month through Proclamation No. 798. Her aim was to foster the preservation, enrichment, and dynamic evolution of a Filipino national culture.
Despite this, most of us have only visited a museum once or twice in our entire life.
If not for the compulsory field trip, it would be a requirement for art appreciation class during high school or college, right?
But museums are fun and you can bet your time is well spent visiting them.
