MANILA, Philippines – According to the Department of Labor and Employment, the large number of overseas Filipino workers returning to the Philippines from the Middle East is due to contract violations of employers like inadequate salaries, contract substitution and others and not due to the low price of oil in the world market. DOLE asked the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration to aid the returning OFWs.
