(Eagle News)–An Olongapo court has granted the motion for the issuance of a hold departure order against Dennis Sytin.

Branch 74 Judge Richard Paradeza also granted the motion for an HDO filed by the prosecution against  Oliver Fuentes alias Ryan Rementilla.

The motions were filed after  Fuentes and  Dennis were charged with the murder of businessman Dominic Sytin, Dennis’ brother, in Subic in November last year.

Also charged was alleged gunman Edgar Luib, but the court was silent on the issuance of an HDO against him  even if  the BI had included him in their motion for an HDO.

Luib’s alleged confession was the basis for the filing of the charges against Fuentes and Dennis.

“As prayed for, the Commissioner of the Bureau of Immigration and Deportation is hereby directed to hold (their) departure,” the judge said.

Authorities had argued Dennis held a grudge after his brother removed him as chief operating officer of the family firm United Auctioneers Inc., and masterminded the killing.

Dennis has denied the allegations, and has vowed to file a petition for review to reverse the Department of Justice’s findings of probable cause.
