It’s ‘blues’ night on the upcoming episode of Sessions on 25th Street with the electrifying and soulful performances of The Brat Pack, and the talented saxophonist, Ian Jacinto.
The Brat Pack is a Filipino blues band that became the first Asians to enter the finals of the 2014 International Blues Challenge or IBC that was held at the Memphis Orpheum Theater last January (PositivelyFilipino.com). Pure talent and exceptional showmanship rests in the blood of the members namely, David de Koenigswarter, the bassist, RJ Pineda, the pianist, Allan Abdulla, the drummer, and Christine Mercado, the vocalist.
Ian Jacinto, on the other hand is a Filipino-American saxophonist and a proud member of several bands in Las Vegas. He is a true music aficionado for he became a two-time finalist on competitions in Nevada. He was also the saxophonist on an internationally-broadcasted game show here in the Philippines.
Let their music capture your soul this November; Sunday, at 8 pm only on Net 25 and Pinas FM 95.5
