(Eagle News)–An orange rainfall warning has been hoisted over some parts of the country.
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said the warning is up over Batangas, Cavite and Bataan, which means flooding there can be “threatening.”
A yellow rainfall warning level has also been hoisted over Metro Manila, Bulacan, Pampanga and Zambales, Pagasa said.
According to Pagasa, this means low-lying areas there can be flooded.
Light to moderate rains with occasional heavy rains, meanwhile, will persist in Rizal, Laguna, Tarlac, Nueva Ecija, and northern Quezon for two to three hours.
“The public and the disaster risk reduction and management councils are advised to take appropriate actions..,” Pagasa said.
