ORMOC CITY, Leyte (Eagle News) – The entire Ormoc City has been placed under a state of calamity after properties were damaged by a series of earthquakes in the Visayas last week.
Ormoc City Mayor Richard Gomez has also decided to suspend classes in all schools because of aftershocks.
The mayor said that there was still no electricity in the area, which could explain why there was a shortage of clean drinking water.
