Other countries not needed for resolution of territorial dispute – China

Amidst the challenge of the United States of America regarding the claims of China in the territorial dispute in the West Philippine Sea, China declared that consultation and negotiation between China and the Association of South East Asian Nation (ASEAN) is enough to resolve said dispute and other countries’ intervention is not needed.

China also suffered another setback when the Permanent Court of Arbitration in the Hague, Netherlands ruled that it has jurisdiction to resolve the territorial dispute between China and the Philippines.
