Several countries send observers to the arbitration case of the Philippines against China regarding their disputed claims in the West Philippine Sea. Malaysia and Vietnam were two of the countries that sent observers and both also have territorial claims in the said area. While Indonesia has no territorial claims, it sent observers to find out China’s explanation regarding its claim over the whole territory. Other countries that sent observers are Australia, Japan, Singapore and Thailand.
